HOTS integrated in classroom setting

HOTS can be very useful in classrooms these days.  With the world turning to technology as a way of life, it seems only right that we teach and use it in classrooms as well.  The school systems need to keep up with the rest of the world.  Blogs can work particularly well for teachers posting news for parents, homework, and upcoming projects.  For students, it can be great for them to ask for help from others or to check their upcoming assignments.

  1. I agree that students should be taught about technology in the classroom. I have noticed that a few students are even more technology advanced than I am! I like your idea of posting news and announcements for parents on blogs. This might be easier than sending out a handout or an email to every parent. Great ideas!

  2. I really like the idea of posting the newsletter and other info on a blog for the students to see. You could also maybe post spelling words or science project ideas so that the students may study them for the week.
